Supplies Needed:
Most of these supplies can be purchased at you local craft, and stamp stores.

Glass Bottle
Decorative Paper
Foil Glue
Gold Fine Foils
Braid
Gold beads
Water based gloss varnish
Liquid alcohol ink - brown & pink
Cast paper, Clay or Charm of a moon

1) Lightly crumple the gold foil in your hands.  Then gently smooth out.  Tear the crumpled fine foils in to small pieces, about the size of a quarter.

2)  Apply foil glue to the back of torn crumpled pieces and layer the pieces over your moon and each other in a collage effect, being careful not to get glue on the front of the foil.  Be sure to adhere the pieces to one another with more glue.  I use a stencil brush to pouch the pieces together.  Let dry.

3) Since foils are non porous they take time to dry.  If cold to the touch it is not dry.  Generally overnight is sufficient time.

4) U
se water based Gloss Varnish and add a couple of drops of alcohol inks.  Mix well.  Use a soft brush apply to your foiled moon, wipe off any excess with a cloth.  Let dry.  You may want to apply a second coat for a darker look.

5) Apply paper to bottle by soaking paper in water for a few minutes, wiping off excess water, apply paper with Elmer's glue-all.  Clean excess on bottle with kitchen sponge.  Let Dry.

6) Apply image, cords, charms, and bead with Elmer's.  Let dry.  Varnish entire project 2-3 times.
